Details: Beithcraft’s origins can be traced back to 1845. This small Scottish firm produced more traditional designs until hiring Rossi in the mid-60s. They were made in small numbers and only a few are exported to the US annually. We located advertisements showing this as the “Symphony” sideboard. The quality is obvious from the construction of everything from the doors to the dividers.
This teak credenza was designed by Val Rossi for Beithcraft Furniture of Scotland as part of their "Symphony" range. It has been professionally restored and features curved edges, organic X legs, swooping sculpted wooden handles for both the drawers and the three doors, grain that flows from one door to the next, and a sleek design. The doors conceal three cabinets with removable / adjustable shelves, and the three dovetailed drawers have extra storage, with the top one having dividers for cutlery.
