Lane "Acclaim"
Lane Furniture's "Acclaim" collection is by Dutch designer Andre Bus. It was originally just a set of tables, but grew in popularity and a full suite of furniture was developed. Launched in October 1958, it went through several iterations, with the earliest pieces being walnut veneer with elm, and all later versions replacing the elm with ash. The edges, tops, handles and knobs all changed a few times during the course of its production. It was followed by "Acclaim II," a laminate-topped version.
