Policies & FAQ

Holds:
We will hold pieces for 10 days with a nonrefundable deposit (contact us via email or Instagram DM to arrange a deposit).  Once an order has been paid in full, we will hold for 20 days at no additional charge.

 

Local Pickup:

Pickup is free and offered on all items. We may be able to help you load pieces, but you should be prepared to load yourself (bring a friend if needed - pizza is great payment for a favor!).  Please reach out directly via the form on this website or via DM on Instagram @Boston_modern to arrange for local pick up. 

Delivery: 

Boston: For smaller and midsize items, we will deliver curbside if within ~1 hour of Boston, normally within 7 days. Contact us for details.

NYC: We routinely deliver between Boston and NYC / Northern NJ Suburbs. Delivery may be available  along that route. Contact us for questions about delivery options for specific items.

Shipping:

We do not arrange shipping, but are happy to meet shippers for pickups. We have had good experiences with uship.com in the past.

 

Returns:

All sales are final upon receipt of item by the buyer or shipper. We encourage our customers to closely inspect items for any noticeable defects prior to completion of sale.
