Details: Wanscher (1903-1985) studied under the founder of Danish Modern, Kaare Klint, and is considered one of the leading figures in Scandinavian design. He took over for Klint as lead professor at the Royal Danish Academy. From the 1950s-1980s, he collaborated with P. Jeppesen. These chairs show how he often took influence from other sources and incorporated them into Danish Modern pieces.
