Details: Poul Henningsen (1894-1967) was a leading designer in Denmark starting after WWI. He was so famous that his is known by his initial "PH." This three-shade design, which was originally available as a chandelier and table lamp, was produced to celebrate the 80th anniversary of PH’s birthday in 1974. The chandelier is one of the most popular pieces of Danish design; it has been estimated that 1 in 5 Danish homes had the chandelier. The shades have a 3:2:1 size ratio, to reflect light downward & slightly outward. The result is a soft, evenly distributed glow that adds warmth to a living, dining, bedroom, or office space. The shade color on this is discontinued and rare, but the lamp is still in production.
