This piece has been professionally restored, but like all vintage pieces, does show signs of wear due to prior use.
The original advertisement states:"Softly sculptured legs and rails flow together as a single molded unit in the design of this distinctive contemporary group. Figured walnut heartwood, bordered with a slightly lighter shade of walnut, is used in the tops. Tops of the tables are indents from the rails just enough to emphasize the sculptured, unitary construction. Pecan is used for all solid parts, and a lovely oil finish complements a picture of clean, fluent lines and tastefully restrained elegance in contemporary styling."
