Details: Niels Koefoed inherited a furniture company from his father; this iconic chair is called the “Eva” and is named after one of his daughters. He also produced chairs called “Peter,” “Ingrid,” and “Lis,” named after family members. However, the Eva is the most copied and popular. Eva was made in a variety of wood options, with oak, teak, rosewood, and cherry all being available.
These chairs have had their frames professionally restored. Oak is one of the least common woods for use in MCM and Danish furniture, and a matching table is also available! The upholstery is newer and in excellent condition but can be replaced for an additional fee.
