Details: Niels Koefoed inherited a furniture company from his father; this iconic chair is called the “Lis” and is named after one of his daughters. He also produced chairs called “Peter,” “Ingrid,” and “Eva,” named after family members. The “Lis” set is quite uncommon and a set of 8 is hard to find! Note the armchairs and how the arm support gracefully extends beyond the seat to the front-to-rear stretcher, appearing to grab it for extra strength. Professionally restored and newly upholstered.
