This set of eight dining chairs was designed by Niels Koefoed for Koefoed Hornslet of Denmark. Named for a family member, the "Lis" is an uncommon set to find; the more common "Eva" chair has the same leg & stretcher design.
Note the armchairs and how the arm support gracefully extends beyond the seat to the front-to-rear stretcher, appearing to grab it for extra strength.
Professionally restored and newly upholstered.
