Details: Elliots of Newbury was originally founded in 1870 and produced ammunition boxes during WWI and WWII aircraft components for planes such as the Spitfire. Postwar, they produced furniture that is still desirable today. Zebrano, or zebra wood, is primarily from West Africa and rare in pieces found in the US.
This gorgeous sideboard has Zebrano wood and teak veneer - the grain is absolutely stunning and a rarity in the United States. Three drawers are place over three large cabinets. All three open to reveal shelving; the center door is a drop-down. The sculpted wooden knobs are original. Professionally restored and in great shape.
