Details: Drexel’s “Declaration” line, by MacDougall & Stewart, was among the first largely produced MCM lines produced in America. It achieved mainstream success partially due to the high quality walnut veneers used — and certain pieces had Shaker influences, showing that the American market was still looking for transitional pieces. With two drawers in a floating lower section and a gorgeous design with curved edges, this has been professionally restored and is in great shape.
