Broyhill Furniture's "Brasilia" line, designed by Mel Smith, is possibly the most desirable line of American mid century modern furniture. This six drawer dresser features the iconic arches design on the top level, with the original handles on the lower four drawers. Professionally restored and in great shape; the matching mirror is available along with the rest of the complete bedroom set.

The original advertisement book says:
"The multi-spires of the Cathedral of Brasilia are a profound indication of the influence transferred from the city to the furniture. The Cathedral table, in rich walnut with glass insert is perhaps the most unusual table ever built, yet the startling loveliness and ultimate practicality of the building itself contribute to the almost perfect scaling and usefulness of the occasional piece. If you look at a photo of the Cathedral of Brasilia, you will immediately see what they are talking about. The designer actually flew to Brasilia and studied the design - but not without stopping in Rio to get the permission of the architect, Oscar Niemeyer, and to discuss the style with him.
