Bassett Furniture's "Aztec" collection is common known as "Mayan" - regardless, this line is so cool. Designed by Leo Jiranek, this line features carved wooden handles influenced by archaeological finds from the 1950s.

This piece has been professionally restored, but like all vintage pieces, does show signs of wear due to prior use.

This is an impressive expression of design achievement derived through a marriage of the past and present. The carved wood pulls and plaques set the design theme for the group influenced by the carved motifs of the ancient Aztecs that have been found, the group expresses a timely atmosphere.
Finished in “MAYAN” Walnut – a rich light brown color with a patina that complements the shadow created by the carvings. Specially designed drop pulls accent the carved motifs and add greatly to the charm of the pieces.”
