Details:Commonly mislabeled as Bassett Mayan, this line is actually called "Aztec." In production from April 1963 to March 1967, this line was designed by Leo Jiranek. The reason for the mixup in name is that, rather confusingly, the finish they used was called "Mayan Walnut." This line was created during an era when Spanish and Latin American influence was prevalent in American MCM (Aztec is mentioned in newspapers along with the very popular Broyhill "Brasilia" line). This set of five hanging knobs come from tall dressers.
