Details: Austinsuite was founded in 1928 by a Jewish family whose original last name was “Ornstein” — which was Anglicized to “Austin.” In the mid-60s, they changed from offering traditional furniture to sell the more popular Danish modern style. Like many similar companies, they closed in the 80s.
This gorgeous sideboard features two sliding doors and three drawers. The inset handles are a combination of metal and sculpted wood. Professionally restored.
