Details: This was a very early foray into MCM by Merton Gershun, who designed several lines for American of Martinsville through the 1970s. The laminate top was advertised as being more durable. The paint scheme is original; the original white porcelain handles were missing and we replaced them with new solid brass.
These have been professionally restored, but like all vintage pieces, they show signs of wear due to prior use.
Shipping Information - Please contact us for a quote on shipping. We have input the "average" price for a larger item, but usually, smaller items such as headboards or nightstands will cost considerably less to ship. Our apologies for the difficulty; it is the nature of dealing in vintage furniture and pieces of all shapes & sizes.
Note Regarding Condition: The furniture pieces we sell are all professionally restored, but they are primarily from the 1950s & 1960s; many will show signs of wear due to prior normal use. If there is any significant or noticeable damage, it will be noted in the product description above.
