From the original advertisement:
Luxury drawn to a fine line . . .
Grandeur in the undertone of good taste . . .
meet in the beauty of “Accord.”
The warmth of wood from the walnut tree,
Softly alive with an oil-like finish,
Its intricate perfection a melody
Played in the pattern of matched grain,
Enhanced by the glow of pewter accents,
Clarified by the counterpoint of imported cane.
In the richness of subtlety
“Accord” is visual harmony . . .
conceived in the magic of a designer’s soul –
correlated for bedroom, dining and living room –
Created for Americans with a love of good living,
a taste for luxury
and a keen eye for quality at a reasonable price.
